May 15, 2021
The inaugural Flower Moon trail run will be delayed until 2021. Obviously, we held out hope that we could all be together for this event which will be incredibly special, but this is just not possible for so many reasons. Oklahoma is opening up in stages but unfortunately, we still do not have permission for the race. All registrations will automatically be rolled over to the 2021 Flower Moon scheduled for May 15th. As always, you may contact us and transfer your registration to any of our other events. There will not be a virtual option for Flower Moon this year and as such the Outlaw Trail Series will also be canceled this year. The gorgeous Flower Moon medals/buckle will be the same next year. Dark and Dirty remains scheduled for July 11th and hopefully we can all be together by the summer. Stay healthy❤️

Special Event!! The Flower Moon on May 15th with gorgeous Dreamcatcher inspired medals!! Located within Osage Hills State Park (one of Oklahoma’s seven original State Parks), Flower Moon will offer distances of 5k, 13.1, 26.2, and 50 (52ish) miles. Yes, the 50 mile is a bit long, but that buckle should make it worth that extra effort. Read the historical book, watch the Scorsese/DiCaprio movie (shooting on location at the park), run the trails, and collect the swag. We have so much planned for this trail run, including Fry Bread Tacos after the race! It is going to be extraordinary!!
This race will be a bit different from most trail runs as runners of the varying distances should finish at similar times. With staggered starting times, all the runs are scheduled for the average finisher to complete the run around 6PM. This will allow us to all eat Fry Bread Tacos together and visit/party after the race.
The run features a great single track course with some technical areas, but is also very runnable. Located completely within Osage Hills State Park which offers 1,100 acres, this is a beautiful run through the woods with gorgeous scenery around the lake and the old CCC camp.
The main course consists of a 13 mile loop with aid at the start/finish and at the parking lot for the bike trails (accessible at mile 4.75, 6.5, 9.5, 12.25). Drop bags may be utilized at the bike trail aid station by placing it on the designated tarp at the start/finish 30 minutes prior to the race. The half marathon has about 1,100 feet of gain running it twice for the marathon and four times for the fifty mile.
The 5K course includes two riverside views, the lookout tower, the amphitheater, and the historic CCC camp. It is a tad long at 3.41 miles but the distance to include the scenery is well worth it.
Unable to attend and still want to participate? Virtual options do exist that allow runners to obtain a coveted medal or complete the series even if they are unable to attend an event in person. We realize that other life obligations come up.
